John Lock and his sister-in-law Celie Locke opened Harvest Cleaners in the fall of 2009. They're now running a busy dry cleaners along with their seven employees. The building was custom designed for the Locke's needs and was built from the ground up. They're located in Pampa, TX just south of the Pampa Regional Medical Center.

Robin Gertonson is the founder of Executive Office Suites of Amarillo. The offices are located in downtown Amarillo in the historic Eagle Centre building. THE FUDGE LADY
Marci Rossiter is the sole owner of The Fudge Lady. She began her confectionary in her own kitchen and sold her products at local gun shows. Her sweets soon became a huge success and she now sells at gun shows throughout the State. Marci's fudge is completely natural, with no added preservatives, and she intends to keep it this way! Although the fudge is primarilly sold at gun shows, it's available for local purchase by calling the number below.

Dr. Naeem Khan is the owner of Amarillo's newest urgent care center. Dr. Khan has a great deal of experience in the field, and realized the need for an additional facility like this in the Amarillo area. He had managed his money well and had enough to equity to receive the loan that was necessary to get the business running. The SBDC assisted him with his financial projections and made sure that no cost was overlooked. The bank was satisfied with his projections and impressed with his past experience. He purchased the old Coffee Memorial Blood Center and recently completed extensive renovations to customize the facility to suit his needs. He's now the owner of a thriving urgent care center in the heart of the Panhandle's hospital district! Amarillo Urgent Care is open 365 days a year from 8am to 8pm.

CUSTOM THREADS
Annabeth and Steve Baker are the owners of Custom Threads, an embroidery shop that specializes in custom embroidery, monograms and personalized gifts. Annabeth operates the store five days a week and all of the work is done in-house with the help of two part-time employees. She's able to do any custom design, including logos, and has done custom shirts for the Small Business Development Center that look wonderful! A remodeled brick front building on the Canyon square houses Annabeth's shop and her business has been thriving due to the central location.
