Ashton Allison, Executive Director

Ashton joined Entrepreneur Alliance in June 2008 as Executive Director. Ashton has over eight years of experience in small business start-ups, management and marketing. Ashton earned his bachelor of business administration degree from Baylor University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at West Texas A&M University with an emphasis in management and entrepreneurship. Ashton is a graduate of the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber Franchise Center and holds memberships with High Ground, Educational Association of University Centers, and the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship. He is also a past president of the American Advertising Federation - Amarillo.

Spencer McElhannon, Senior Business Development Facilitator

Spencer joined Entrepreneur Alliance in April 2009 as Business Development Facilitator. Spencer is currently responsible for enterprise development in Borger, Pampa and Perryton. Spencer has been an entrepreneur for the past 25 years. His background includes experience in light manufacturing, personal and professional services, technology, oil & gas, and agricultural. Over the past two decades, Spencer has built businesses in Texas, Colorado, New York, Tennessee, California and the Eastern Caribbean. In 1997, Spencer, along with two partners, were recognized by INC. Magazine as one of the “INC. 500” - a national ranking of the 500 fastest growing private companies in America. Spencer is a graduate of Baylor University and holds a post-graduate certificate in paralegal studies from The Denver Paralegal Institute.  

Matty McLain, Business Development Facilitator

Matty joined Entrepreneur Alliance in 2010 as a Business Development Facilitator. Matty is currently responsible for enterprise development in Dumas and other communities. His background includes sales, online businesses, guerrilla marketing, operations management, and business start-ups. Matty earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Texas. He is a small business owner and has experience in a variety of industries including fundraising, recycling, website design, wholesale baking, and construction.
