Our organization has undergone a number of changes recently and experienced a lot of success along the way. The Entrepreneur Alliance Board has spent considerable time determining how best to adapt the organization to the changes we’ve experienced, especially in light of the successful spinoff of Business Facilitation into a new entrepreneurial business. The board has had many discussions over the past few months, and no organization is ever so healthy as when it is engaged in a vigorous discussion about mission and outcomes.
Entrepreneur Alliance was the first ever non-university recipient of a University Center award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration. We feel a great sense of satisfaction that we could successfully leverage federal support into a self-sustaining business which has created its own set of new jobs. A lot of credit is due to the early supporters for the operational results to date - 1,522 entrepreneurs engaged, 92 new jobs created, 85 jobs saved, and $5,567,400 in new capital injected into small business clients.
